portable-HD-Camcorder: preloading not working for RAGE

preloading not working for RAGE
I am trying to preload this game called "Rage" from steam and i am continuously getting error message saying that the steam server is too busy and it is not able too handle preload of rage and i am just waiting since hours and i am really disappointed with the steam that they are not able to handle enough people downloading the game.Is there any one who have faced the same problem.Any suggestion regarding the same will be appreciated.

I had never face this problem before but yesterday when i was trying to preload from 8 pm and i am still getting the steam busy.I really don't think that they have replaced their servers or have either improved their download system from a long time and they really have to work on it in order to avoid such problems to their customers because by now i am really getting a bad feeling for the steam.I hope the will look in to this matter seriously.

I have been facing the same problem since the time i have tried to PreLoading rage.In the starting it went up quickly but just after some minutes it got suspended and later it progress just disappeared and came all the way down to 0% and later when i cancelled the download and tried it again then i started getting the messages like that the steam server is busy to handle your request and all and it is still the same since hours and now i am just so frustrated with it and i don't know what to do.

Even i was facing the same error but i was able to sort it out by changing the server.If you want even you can try the same and check if it helps you as well if not then you can try to change the AFAIAA setting these setting is for the server you are using it had worked for some people having the same kind of problem,actually i have not tried this solution yet but i have read this solution in a forum where a guy after changing the solution was able to download it but it took him up to 2 hours.Just try to perform all the above and i think probably on solution should solve this problem.

I have experienced the same problem before and even i have waited for hours in order to download rage and i have also tried changing the server but nothing seems to have worked for me and finally when i tried to download it from the university using the internet i was able to download it within a hour.You can try the same rather than trying to download it from the steam and getting welcomed with "Steam is currently busy to handle your request".

Basically Preloading is for downloading the game before it gets actually get released and now when steam is not capable of providing the download to all it customers then they should just stop this feature when they are not able to handle it well.I have never been so disappointed with the steam ever before as i had always loved it but know i think that i will have to buy these games from the Amazon.
