Lack of birds in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
I love about this game is hunting the wildlife but I can't help feel that there's a lack of birds. There are two areas where I know there will be birds (Hawks, in fact.). One location is just north of River wood when you cross over the bridge, following the road to White run. The other place is in Solitude where there is a flock of them flying in circles. This isn't a complaint of any sort, I don't know if they're meant to be rare on Nirn or anything. Just like to mix up my hunt a bit and birds are always fun to shoot down. Anyone else notice this?

Yeah, having played Red Dead heaps before this game I'm feeling' the lack of birds a bit. I also find it kind of weird that there are so many eagles above Solitude. More birds would be nice. However if i was a seagull or a cliff racer and saw one of those off dragons I’d fly the out of Skyrim too.

I see birds all over the place. You can even kill them and they spiral out of the sky to land on a guard's head or something. They have some birds flying around. You just aren't paying attention. I was walking through the tundra and seen a shadow of a bird on the ground, thought it was a dragon at first, got into my fight mode.

Sorry to inform you but I saw an eagle travelling above my head, heading to direction of Whiterun. I am talking about a real tangible bird you could observe and see its wings flap.
